Saturday night. A normal Saturday night.
May 3, 2014. After a long browsing session on the internet I got so sleepy that my drooping eyelid refused to obey resistance. I finally gave up and prepared for bed without showering.
Drifting into sleep was as easy as entering 'the dream world'. I actually don't remember the beginning of the dream but I will still tell my story.
In my dream, I find myself wandering in my old city and house. It wasn't bad at first until I found myself sleeping in my mother's room. Then I saw a shadow across the wall. It was a frigging huge shadow of a giant or something. It was so huge it covered the six meter wall, from end to end.
I was so terrified I run but to no avail. I could still feel it's presence on me. I tried screaming, no sound came out. I couldn't even say "The Name of Jesus" no whisper it. All I could do was talk in my head which only I could hear and maybe God.
In my terror and hope of being saved from this terrifying experience, the spirit spoke up. " I am bigger than something" it said in a deep, commanding, authoritative and arrogant voice. I was so scared what was going to happen to me,
I could feel something being pulled out of my body. More like my spirit was being taken away from my body. The presence became stronger. I tried waking myself up from this nightmare before it gets worse, but I couldn't. It was impossible. I just laid there and waited for it to end.
I waited.
Then I begin to feel heat. Real heat. Not like fire heat but hot room heat. I began to feel my surrounding. It was very quiet. My memory began to work again. Still lying there in sleep and dreaming, I could figure out that the power was out. That was when I knew I had been saved and not dead.
Suddenly my eye flew open. I was right! The power was out and my entire room was pitch black. Fear gribbed me so hard my heart skipped a beat, not once. I reached for my phone to check the time. 02:06GMT. I had only slept for four hours with a terrible dream which nearly took my life.
I looked around. There was no one in the room but myself. Someone opened the door.
I nearly passed out from fear. It was my roommate. He came in to pick his phone and told me he wasn't sleeping here, he was going to sleep in Flavour's room.
Damn! The fear maintained it's level.
Forever minutes into fear and staying in the warm room, the power came back. I quickly turned the lights on to convince myself there was nothing in the room. I prayed. I turned on my laptop to distract myself from the horrifying nightmare. I watched a couple of movies till sunrise.

April 20. 2014 ---- Easter Flood
So it's sunday, actually easter sunday. I wake up very early knowing that it the day that the LORD Jesus resurrected. Happily as a christian, I decide to get ready for church, but then the tap starts to flow after weeks of not flowing. I scrubbed my bathroom, washed my pile of dirty clothing and the swept my entire room. I went out to dry up my clothes then I saw water dripping from Delavina's balcony into my balcony, since am directly below her room. I knew instantly that sh had left her tap on and her room has flooded, making excess water find its water down the balcony.
As stupid and careless as I was, I went back into my room thinking it will definitely stop dripping and everything would be fine. But that was not the case. I began mopping my floor when I heard water pouring. I instantly assumed I had left the tap on in the bathroom, so I didnt pay any attention to it any longer. After minutes of pouring water, I got irritated by the sound, entered the bathroom to get the shock of my life. The tap wasn't flowing. Where the hell is the pouring water sound from?
I opened the back door. My eyes widened. My mind began to race. Images of the future outcome of what I discovered slide through my mind like a PowerPoint presentation. I became motionless. Confused. I just didn't know what to do.
The dripping water from Delavina's balcony has turned into a raging wind-directed waterfall. It was pouring right into my corridor and had began flowing into my room. I shook of the shock gripping me and run out to get help. I climbed upstairs to Flavour's room, when my room mate spent the night. I knocked three times, no response. I made my way down the stairs then I heard someone unlocked their door. I climbed back upstairs, told them in a calm tone like it was no big deal. I collected Elijah's number, dailled, no answer. Both of Delavina's phones were off. I went outside to find the other security but no where to be found. I enter the storage room and there he was in sleep mode. I wanted to kick him into waking up but I remembered it's Easter, take it easy.
I reported the issue to him, he tried calling Caretaker Elijah himself but still no answer. I went back to the room to find water occupying every dry space it finds. With my door opened, some residents enter to laugh, give me their sympathetic speech and other to help. I remember clearly Amett climbing up a broken ladder to Delavina's balcony but the door was locked.
After moments of waiting for the "water fall" to stop, it finally did. I picked up a cup and bucket to collect the water on the balcony. Collecting over six buckets of water alone from the balcony, I wondered how much water had snaked itself into the room. The water in the room washed dirt from the every corner, which I collected and mopped the floor.
Still waiting for an apology from Delavina D.
I think this tells that some bad things, have good effect.

September 2, 2013
On this day I woke up early. The whole house was awake at the same time, Why? Mama was travelling. Lights in every room turned on, chattering among herself and my brothers and worses of all banging of doors.I laid down and listened to everything go on with my eyes tightly shut because I didn't want to know the time it was by looking outside the window.
Jumping out of bed is my thing. When the house became dead quiet again I did exactly that. I was so sure, the housemaid was in her room and everyone else has gone back to sleep, even the cats. But hell no! They were making breakfast, a very controversial time. A time the worst and best happens simultaneously. The messy and the fantastic happening at the same time.
